Why study in Malaysia?

Malaysia is a vibrant country with more than 30 million people, located in the center of Southeast Asia. Culturally diverse with plenty of natural resources, the country offers beautiful beaches, unique festivals, and delicious cuisine that you wouldn’t want to miss.

Malaysia’s rich culture – due to the various ethnicities living in the country – is one of the main reasons why it is such an appealing destination for international students. The cost of living is also more affordable compared to other countries.

The government’s ultimate goal is to make the country a major education hub in the region. Aside from world-class and home-grown universities, Malaysia is also home to foreign university branches. This means you can still receive top-notch education at a lower price when you study in Malaysia.

Cost of living in Malaysia:

If you choose to live in its most expensive city, the cost of living in Malaysia is very low. This makes it a great destination for many expats – especially retirees looking to keep their expenses to a minimum.

Housing costs are quite low (about 72% less than the U.S.), while the overall cost of living is about 43% less expensive. For retirees looking to stretch their savings, Malaysia is a destination worth considering.

From city life to island living, you can enjoy it all in Malaysia. The people are friendly, the weather is warm, and the beaches are beautiful. And, perhaps most importantly, it will cost you a whole lot less to live there than it will to live in the U.S., Europe, or other Asian countries.
